Summary

The field experiment was undertaken during 2004-05 to 2007-08 on ARS, Kota to evaluate the performance of soybean-wheat, soybean-chickpea, soybean-coriander and soybean-onion cropping sequences in heavy textured, non-calcareous soils. The results revealed that soybean-onion sequence was more productive and remunerative compared to other sequences in irrigated areas of humid southeastern plain of Rajasthan.
