K-State Libraries and Information Technology Services offer accessibility services, software, equipment to ensure that all Libraries users have equitable access to the Libraries' resources and facilities.

 

Adaptive technology software

Computers in the Libraries include access to the following adaptive technology software:

  • Read & Write
  • On-screen Keyboard
  • Windows Magnifier
  • Text to Speech


Libraries support

Patrons can visit any of our library help desk locations to ask for assistance. Libraries staff are happy to help patrons with:

  • Retrieval of library items from our shelves.
  • Assistance with scanning, printing or copying.
  • Obtaining enlarged copies of our handouts.
  • Arranging for others to checkout library items on your account.

Additionally, students registered with the Student Access Center can receive extended loan periods on K-State Libraries materials. Visit any library help desk to receive this service.
