About Carolyn:
As administrator of the Open/Alternative Textbook Initiative, Carolyn collaborates with faculty and departments across campus to promote and support the development and use of open educational resources. She is available to meet individually with faculty, staff and students to help answer questions related to publishing, the scholarly communications lifecycle and research data management plans. Carolyn can provide reference assistance and presentations on issues relating to copyright, licensing, scholarly identity, open access and publishing. She is a contact for information on publishing with Pressbooks and New Prairie Press.
Research interest:
Research data management, agricultural data and the use of open linked data to promote scholarly identity.
Fun fact:
Carolyn was on a hotshot firefighting crew one summer that didn’t get to fight a single wildfire.
