K-State Libraries welcomes you to the fall 2023 semester!

Our state-of-the-art facility provides exciting opportunities to support student success, collaborate with campus partners and create new community connections. So many students have rediscovered our functional spaces and are showing a sense of ownership of the newly remodeled Hale Library as they follow their intellectual pursuits.

K-State Libraries remains committed to fostering academic excellence. We serve as the informational and intellectual commons for our public, land-grant institution. Our main and branch libraries provide specialized research support and information literacy services (including training and research into AI literacy), access to an array of carefully curated online and physical resources, technologically infused study rooms, collaborative and quiet spaces, reading rooms, special collections and university records management. The Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab further expands our services through a media studio, makerspaces, Liquid Galaxy display and more.

When you visit us, please explore our many works of art, including the Great Room murals, the "We Are the Dream" mural, the "2 Americas" mural and many more framed pieces throughout Hale.

We have developed a draft of a new strategic plan, and our faculty and staff look forward to the opportunities and challenges that a next-gen, land-grant university will provide — opportunities for innovation, transformation and engagement.
