As associate dean for research, education and engagement, Laurel oversees the academic services department and the Richard L. D. and Marjorie J. Morse Department of Archives and Special Collections. She also lead the Libraries’ assessment and external outreach programs and chairs the Hale Library centennial celebration in 2027.

Fun fact:
Laurel’s hobbies include riding horses, gardening and raising chickens for eggs.
