About Laurel:
As interim dean, Laurel collaborates with the Libraries and university leadership to implement strategic priorities and organize a permanent structure for the Libraries moving forward.
Laurel helps assist the Libraries with strategic planning, assessment, library data management and benchmarking. Laurel served as K-State’s Faculty Senate president from 2021 to 2022.
Fun fact:
Laurel’s hobbies include riding horses, gardening and raising chickens for eggs.
