About Sara K.:
Sara K. can consult with students and faculty to help with research questions. She can help faculty develop research assignments for students and visit your undergraduate class, graduate class or student organization. Content she can cover includes using library resources, critically evaluating information, understanding scholarly communication and publishing in the humanities, finding primary and historical sources, and digital humanities. Sara K. is committed to recognizing and integrating diversity, equity, inclusion and access into her classes and research guidance.
Additionally, Sara K. works closely with colleagues in the university archives and special collections and the Center for Scholarly Publishing and brings their expertise into research consultations and course instruction. She also is a co-advisor to the K-State Libraries Student Ambassadors.
Research interest:
Digital humanities, critical information literacy, research and scholarly communication practices in the humanities.
Fun fact:
Sara K. has gotten to work with some cool historical artifacts, including a Sumerian terracotta cuneiform tablet circa 2200 B.C.
