Paul Weigel Library of Architecture, Planning and Design
The Paul Weigel Library of Architecture, Planning and Design, located in 0081 Regnier Hall, is open to everyone. It houses a large collection of print architecture and design books, magazines, journals and other media that are available for check out. It also houses the William A. Stoskopf Special Collections room.
Please note: when Regnier is closed, you can enter Weigel Library through the entrance from the William T. Kemper Foundation Amphitheatre.
Spaces and services
Weigel Library moved into its newly renovated location in 2017. With plenty of natural light, the library offers beautiful and inspired spaces for any student to use.
Weigel Library has quiet study space with comfortable soft seating and work spaces. There also are computers and equipment for printing, copying and scanning.
The adjoining Pierce Information Commons, which remains open after library hours, is a spacious reading and meeting area that faces the beautiful William T. Kemper Foundation Amphitheatre.
Help
Staff are available to answer questions and assist with technology needs at the help desk whenever the library is open. Two subject librarians are also available to support students with in-depth research questions.
Special Collections
The William A. Stoskopf Special Collections room houses approximately 1,175 rare and fragile books, prints, maps and other items. In order to view items from Special Collections, visitors can go to the help desk and request access. Special Collections items cannot be checked out and must be used in Weigel Library.
