Staff awards and recognition

Do you know a K-State Libraries employee who goes the extra mile for you, your colleagues, students, or classmates? Show your support by submitting a nomination for the Libraries’ annual staff awards, which honor outstanding achievement, service, leadership, and dedication through three awards.

• Brice G. Hobrock Distinguished Faculty Award for faculty
• Lori Goetsch Professional Staff Award for professional staff
• Support Staff Employee of the Year for university support staff

Award winners receive a monetary gift sponsored by the Friends of the K-State Libraries and a plaque engraved with the recipient's name. The plaques are displayed in Hale Library.

Timeline

• Nominations open: Nov. 1
• Nomination deadline: Nov. 30
• Award recipients will be announced in a ceremony in early spring 2026.
