Staff awards and recognition

Each year, K-State Libraries honors individuals for their outstanding achievements, service, leadership and dedication with three awards.

• Brice G. Hobrock Distinguished Faculty Award for faculty
• Lori Goetsch Professional Staff Award for professional staff
• Support Staff Employee of the Year for university support staff

Award winners receive a monetary gift sponsored by the Friends of the K-State Libraries and a plaque engraved with the recipient's name. The plaques are displayed in Hale Library.

Timeline

• Nominations open: Nov. 1
• Nomination deadline: Dec. 15
• Award recipients will be announced in a ceremony in early spring 2025.
